Surface burners and spark modules
A burner that clicks endlessly, lights only from a match or sparks at every burner at once has a fouled electrode, a shorted switch or a failing spark module. We test each electrode and the module, then replace the failed part and verify clean ignition.
Gas valves, orifices and simmer settings
A flame that will not turn down to a simmer, burns yellow or lifts off the burner points to a worn valve, a clogged orifice or an air mixture out of adjustment. We clean and gauge the orifices, adjust the air shutters and replace worn valves.
Safety valves and thermocouples
When a burner or oven lights and then dies the moment you release the knob, the thermocouple or safety valve is no longer holding the gas open. We test the millivolt output, confirm the valve responds, and replace the failed component so the flame stays lit.
Oven igniters and bake elements in the range cavity
A range oven that heats slowly, will not reach temperature or quits mid roast usually has a weak glow bar igniter on gas models or an open bake element on electric ones. We measure igniter current and element resistance, then install the genuine OEM part.

When every dish needs longer than the recipe says, or bakes scorch on the bottom rack, the probe or thermostat feeding the control has drifted. We measure actual cavity temperature against the dial with instruments, replace the drifted sensor and calibrate the oven back to spec.

Knobs that grind, stick or spin without changing the flame are telling you the valve stems behind them are wearing out, a real gas safety issue on an older range. We replace worn stems, valves and knobs with genuine parts and confirm each position seats correctly.
Radiant elements and infinite switches
An electric burner that stays on high no matter the setting, cycles erratically or never glows has a failed infinite switch or a burned radiant element under the glass. We test the switch contacts and element resistance, then replace the failed part and verify even heating.
