Wall ovens in Los Angeles
A wall oven sits flush in the cabinetry, which is exactly what makes it hard to service. We repair single and double wall ovens, French door wall ovens, and steam and combination steam ovens in 24, 27 and 30 inch cabinet cutouts across Los Angeles, from GE and Whirlpool to Bosch, Thermador, Gaggenau and JennAir. After 24 years on appliances, our technicians know these units have to come out of the cabinet before anything can be tested, so the flooring, the surround and the adjacent millwork are draped and protected before the oven moves an inch.
On a wall oven, guessing means pulling a built in unit from its cabinet twice. A bake cycle that dies mid roast can be a hidden element, a relay board or a thermal fuse blown after a self clean cycle, and each answer carries a different price. Our diagnostic visit is $95, waived with your repair, and it ends with a firm written quote before any work begins. Most owners brace for a second number once the oven is out of the wall. There is no second number. The quote you approve is what you pay, however the repair unfolds.
We are open daily from 7am to 7pm, with same or next day appointments across Los Angeles and Southern California. A factory trained technician arrives with drop cloths for your millwork and the common oven parts on the truck, and treats the cabinet around the unit as carefully as the oven itself. Precise diagnosis, genuine parts, and a 3 Year Onyx Warranty in writing.
What we fix
What fails inside a wall oven.
Relay and control boards
The oven ignores the set temperature, shuts off mid cycle or shows a control panel that will not wake. We pull the unit, protect the surround, test the relay board outputs and replace the failed board with a genuine OEM part.
Hidden bake and broil elements
The oven preheats slowly, bakes uneven or quits heating entirely, and with the element hidden under the floor you cannot see the break. We test both elements for continuity and amperage draw, then replace the failed element with the genuine OEM part.
Thermal fuses blown after a self clean cycle
The self clean cycle ends and the oven never heats again, a classic failure, the extreme heat takes out the thermal fuse. We test the fuse and the cooling path that let it overheat, then replace both the fuse and the underlying cause.
Door hinges, springs and inner glass
The door drops open, will not close flush or shows a shattered inner pane, and heat pours into the kitchen with every bake. We replace worn hinges, snapped springs and broken inner glass, then check the seal so the door closes tight.
Door latch motors and self clean lockouts
The door locks after a self clean cycle and never releases, or the oven refuses to start because the latch reads open. We test the latch motor, its switches and the control logic driving them, and replace the failed latch assembly.
Cooling fans and cabinet heat management
The cabinet trim gets too hot to touch, the fan roars on long after the oven is off, or the oven shuts down mid roast to protect itself. We test the cooling fan and thermostat, and replace the parts that keep cabinet heat in check.
Temperature sensors and calibration
Cakes come out pale at the stated temperature or roasts burn early, and an oven thermometer confirms the drift. We test the temperature sensor against a calibrated reference, replace a drifting probe and recalibrate the control until set matches actual.
Steam oven tanks, pumps and descaling lockouts
A steam oven that stops producing steam, drains its tank early or locks itself into a descale demand has scale in its water path. We test the pump and heating circuit, clear the boiler and lines of scale, and reset the lockout properly.
Every one of these repairs starts with pulling the oven from its cabinet, which is exactly why the work belongs with a factory trained Onyx technician. We protect the millwork, confirm the failure with testing, repair it once with genuine OEM parts, and back the work with a 3 Year Onyx Warranty in writing.
Why it cannot wait
A built in oven cannot simply be swapped out.
A failed wall oven is not a weekend replacement. The unit is wired into the cabinetry, sized to a cutout that new models rarely match, and lead times on built in ovens run weeks. Repair keeps your cabinet intact and your kitchen working. Waiting only moves the failure closer to a holiday, when every calendar in the city fills first.

Questions, answered
Before you call.
How much does wall oven repair cost in Los Angeles?
The diagnostic visit is $95, waived with your repair. Once the failure is confirmed you receive a firm quote for parts and labor before any work begins, and pulling the oven from its cabinet is included, never billed as an extra.
Can you come out today?
In most of the service area, yes. We are open daily from 7am to 7pm, with same or next day appointments across Los Angeles and Southern California. Call (747) 777-9728 and we will give you an honest arrival window and keep it.
Which wall oven brands do you repair?
All major brands, including Thermador, Gaggenau, GE Monogram, GE Profile, JennAir, Dacor, Bosch, KitchenAid, Whirlpool, Samsung, LG, Electrolux and Fisher & Paykel, from single wall ovens to combination steam units. Onyx is an independent company, not affiliated with any manufacturer.
Is my wall oven worth repairing?
Almost always. A wall oven is sized to its cabinet cutout, and replacement usually means carpentry as well as a new unit, so most repairs are the economical path. When a control platform on an aging oven is no longer supported, we say so plainly.
What warranty comes with the repair?
Every repair carries the 3 Year Onyx Warranty covering parts and labor, in writing. If the fault returns within that period, so do we, at no charge.
Will the price change once you open it up?
No. One Quote. One Price. Guaranteed Repair. No Supplemental Estimates. Whatever we find once the oven is out of the cabinet, the quote you approved stands, and any difficulty the removal or the repair adds along the way is ours to carry.
