What fails on a cooktop.
Spark modules and igniters
You turn the knob, the burner clicks endlessly or stays silent, and no flame appears. We test the spark module, the igniter electrodes and the switch harness, dry out flooded ports, and replace the failed component with a genuine OEM part.
Burner caps, ports and simmer burners
Flames burn uneven, yellow or tall on one side, and the simmer setting either dies or scorches. We clean and reseat burner caps, clear blocked ports, verify gas pressure at each burner and restore the low flame the burner was rated for.
Gas valves and safety thermocouples
A burner that lights and then dies when you release the knob points to a failing thermocouple or safety valve. We test the flame sensing circuit and valve operation, replace the failed part and confirm every burner holds flame safely before we leave.
Induction generator boards
An induction zone stops sensing the pan, flashes an error code or heats at a fraction of its power. We test the generator board, the coil and its temperature sensors, then replace the failed board with a genuine OEM part matched to your model.
Radiant elements and infinite switches
A radiant zone stays cold, glows at full power regardless of the setting, or cycles erratically. We test the element for continuity and the infinite switch under load, then replace whichever failed, so the zone heats to the setting on the dial.
Glass touch controls and unresponsive panels
The touch surface ignores your finger, locks itself or lights zones you never selected, often after a boilover or a deep clean. We test the touch control module and its ribbon connections, dry and reseat what moisture reached, and replace failed panels.
Downdraft blowers and vent controls
The downdraft riser will not rise, the blower rattles or moves no air, and smoke drifts through the kitchen instead of the duct. We test the blower motor, the riser drive and the vent switch, and replace worn motors and failed controls.
Cracked glass, seals and cabinet cutouts
A cracked glass top, a lifting frame seal or a unit shifting in its counter cutout invites spills into the electronics below. We replace damaged glass with the genuine OEM assembly, reseal the frame and secure the cooktop correctly in its cutout.
