Bosch dishwasher repair · Los Angeles

E15 on a Bosch dishwasher means water has reached the base pan and the Aquastop switch has cut power to protect your floor. The machine stays dead until the leak underneath is found and fixed.

Bosch dishwashers in Los Angeles

A Bosch dishwasher is usually the quietest machine in the house, which is why the same three calls stand out when it stops. In Pacific Palisades, Playa del Rey and Playa Vista we see the E15 leak trip more than any other Bosch fault, the machine dead with a blinking light and water hiding in the base pan. Behind it come E24 and E25 drain blockages, drain pumps that fail outright, and condensation dry models that leave every load wet. After 24 years working these same streets, our technicians can usually name the fault from your description before the van leaves the shop.

Guessing is expensive on this platform because the symptom rarely sits next to the cause. E15 will return within days if a technician mops the base pan without finding the seep that filled it, and a new drain pump fixes nothing when the real blockage is a stuck check valve. We diagnose first, then quote, a $95 diagnostic, waived with your repair. We fit genuine OEM parts, run the machine through a full cycle, and back the work with a 3 Year Onyx Warranty. Most Westside calls are handled same or next day.

What actually fails

How a Bosch dishwasher fails, from the base pan up.

E15 Aquastop leak trip

Water in the base pan lifts a float and trips the Aquastop switch, cutting the cycle with a blinking light. The leak can be a seal, a hose or a cracked sump. We find the source, dry the pan and reset the system.

E24 and E25 drain faults

Both codes point at the drain path. E24 usually means a clogged filter, kinked hose or blocked air gap, while E25 points closer to the pump cover and impeller. We clear the full run from sump to standpipe and verify drain time.

Drain pump and check valve

Standing water after a finished cycle points to a failed drain pump or a check valve stuck shut in the sump outlet. Glass chips are the usual killer. We test the pump under load and replace it rather than clearing it blind.

Heat pump and heating element

Condensation dry models depend on real heat in the final rinse. When the heat pump or heating element fails, the cycle finishes but every load comes out cold and wet. We confirm the failure electrically and fit the correct heater for the model.

Door hinge cables and springs

When a hinge cable snaps or a spring lets go, the door stops floating and slams open against the cabinet. It stresses the hinges and the panel below. We replace cables and springs in pairs so the door balances correctly again.

Water inlet valve and flow sensor

The inlet valve meters every fill. A weak solenoid or a clogged screen gives long fills, poor wash or no water at all, and a valve that will not close keeps filling after the cycle ends. We swap the valve complete.

Questions, answered

Before you call.

Do you repair Bosch dishwashers?

Yes, daily. E15 leak trips, E24 drain blockages and heating failures on condensation dry models make up most of our Bosch dishwasher work. Onyx Appliance Service is an independent company, not affiliated with or authorized by Bosch or BSH Home Appliances. Our technicians are factory trained on the platform.

Why does my Bosch dishwasher show E15 and refuse to start?

Pulling the machine and drying the base pan only resets the symptom. E15 means the Aquastop float found water under the tub, and something above it is seeping, a sump seal, a hose clamp or a cracked component. We trace the leak to its source so the trip does not come back.

What does a Bosch dishwasher repair cost?

Bosch pricing here is simple. The visit starts with a $95 diagnostic, waived with your repair, and you receive an exact quote before any work begins. One Quote. One Price. Guaranteed Repair. No Supplemental Estimates. The number we give you at the machine is the number on the invoice.

Do you use genuine Bosch parts?

Genuine OEM parts only, matched to your model and serial number before we order or pull from stock. We do not fit aftermarket substitutes. Common Bosch dishwasher parts, pumps, valves, heaters and hinge kits, ride on the truck, which is why most repairs finish in a single visit.

Is the repair covered by a warranty?

Before the technician leaves, the coverage goes in writing. Every Bosch dishwasher repair we complete carries the 3 Year Onyx Warranty on both parts and labor, documented at the time of service. If the same fault returns inside that window, we return and make it right.
